Frequently asked questions

Our customs broker service is a fixed GEL 100 (per HS code); several codes — priced individually. The state fee with an ASYCUDA licence, when the declaration is filed in advance, starts from GEL 50 (for cargo valued up to GEL 3,000). The exact amount depends on the cargo value and the number of HS codes.

ASYCUDA (eCustoms) is the Revenue Service’s electronic system where a licensed broker files the declaration before the cargo arrives. On a pre-arrival declaration the state fee is halved: 50 GEL instead of 100 for cargo up to 3,000 GEL, 150 instead of 400 up to 15,000 GEL, and 200 instead of 500 above 15,000 GEL.

Three: import duty (0% on roughly 90% of goods, 5% or 12% on the rest — by HS code), VAT 18% (on customs value plus import duty) and excise — only on excisable goods (alcohol, tobacco, fuel, vehicles). Our customs calculator gives you the exact amount.
